So many happy memories I have of a brilliant teacher and a genuine friend. From way back to our uni days, to getting our first teaching jobs together and all our hilarious house sharing shenanigans on the Isle of Sheppey. Oh what fun we had dancing around the kitchen, singing along to some classic tunes on the radio while 'whipping up a storm' for pudding! I won't mention the time that we arrived home to find that Bliss had been busy gnawing at my kitchen table leg! Puppies eh?! You have been so supportive of me over the years and always taken a keen interest in Ollie's childhood too. Thank you. ♥ Such a kind and gentle man with a heart of pure gold who has been taken from us all far to soon. We really miss you. Sleep tight Mr. C. All our love, Karen and Ollie xx 🤗

Steve was one of the most kind and gentle person I’ve ever known. He loved his family so much and would help anyone. He was a great teacher, who knew his pupils so well. I’ll always think of Steve with a dog at his feet! 🐾 He was taken far too soon. Love to all the family. 💖💖Xxx

Steve was one of my most favourite men in my life growing up. Every time I saw him he never failed to remind me of ponies eating my nappies on our camping trips and the hilarious joke about ‘froggies in a jelly’ i told him at aged five. I don’t remember a time in my life when he wasn’t there and now I’m devastated to live in a time that he isn’t. I loved him terribly and hope he rests in peace and remembers the last words I said to him before I left for uni again, ‘see you at Christmas Steve’.
